A robotic arm which might decide up meals and feed an individual autonomously has been developed by the College of Washington.
The Assistive Dexterous Arm (ADA) makes use of sensors and algorithms to establish meals on a plate and works out one of the simplest ways to select it up and in addition feed it to the individual.
Researchers hope it would help caregivers in feeding fruit and may someday be capable of feed “life like” meals with additional improvement.
