Hong Kong’s chief Carrie Lam has apologised for her dealing with of a controversial extradition invoice – however has not provided to withdraw it.

The territory has been rocked by large protests over the legal guidelines which might permit extradition to mainland China.

Demonstrators have been calling for Mrs Lam to resign.

The invoice has been suspended however, regardless of Mrs Lam admitting she had “a lot to study”, her assertion didn’t deal with a lot of protesters’ calls for.

“I personally need to shoulder a lot of the accountability. This has led to controversies, disputes and anxieties in society,” she stated.

“For this I supply my most honest apology to all folks of Hong Kong.”
